Melissa A. Morris
Melissa Morris (she/her/hers) joined PILP in 2018 and splits her time between PILP’s housing and public benefits practices. Prior to joining PILP, she worked at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, where, over the course of 12 years, her work spanned issues ranging from eviction defense to SSI appeals to affordable housing policy to voting rights. Melissa began her legal career in 2004 as a Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging Fellow at Legal Aid of Marin, where she represented low-income and senior residents of Marin County in housing, domestic violence, elder abuse, and consumer matters. In addition to her work at PILP, Melissa serves on the Board of Directors of Sacred Heart Community Service in San José and coaches girls’ recreational youth soccer.
