Welcome to Palmer Buchholz
The Public Interest Law Project is excited to announce that Palmer Buchholz has joined our team as a Staff Attorney and will be contributing to PILP’s work with local legal services programs with a focus on the intersection of public benefits and homelessness!
Prior to joining PILP, Palmer served as Senior Staff Attorney for the Housing and Youth Justice Units at Bay Area Legal Aid. She has provided direct legal services to systemically-disadvantaged clients and provided legal services primarily to homeless, system-involved, and sexually-exploited clients.
Palmer brings expertise in several substantive practice areas, including public benefits, child welfare, and housing. She has complimented her casework with a multi-pronged approach to systems-level advocacy, leveraging strong interagency partnerships and community engagement. Palmer earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and religious studies from UC Berkeley and her Juris Doctor Degree from the School of Law at UC Berkeley.
